Trust and limits
Privacy and permissions
Separation of accounts, organisations and matters. Who sees which kind of data.
Separation
Conversations, documents and matters follow the account and workspace bounds. An organisation does not confer implied access to a matter. Organization-workspace files without a matter are shared with active members. The confidentiality label is not an access list. Deleting a conversation does not delete attached files.
Members and permissionsOrganisation membership does not open the file. Access is granted by person and role, and taken back when the work ends.Organisation and matterThe organisation is for accounts and seats. The matter is the file. This is not a client portal and not trust accounting.

The published bounds are at /trust. This page is the in-account lawyer’s guide.
