The law is a public original. The client’s contract is a private paper. Mixing them strips a source of its character.
Two rooms
The corpus: legislation, decisions, judgments and gazettes opened as a public original. The client file: contracts and memos uploaded to the matter and kept there. Searching one does not turn it into the other.
Mixing them is catastrophic
A private paper in public clothes misleads the court and the client. Keep each source in its character.
